Why not re-adjust, when something isn’t quite working?
We could give up. We could switch our attention to something else, something better.
We could keep going, doing the thing that almost works.
Or we could try again in a different way. We could recognize how close we are, appreciate the progress we’ve made, and get excited to leap across the gap that remains.
What gets us across the finish line isn’t always more. Sometimes it’s less, a strategic dose of helpful slack.
